The Crop Genetics and Bioinformatics Team has two professors, two assistant professors, five postdoctoral fellows, and 48 graduate students. The team leader, Professor Chen Lingling, is a national talent and the deputy director of the State Key Laboratory for the Protection and Utilization of Subtropical Agricultural Biological Resources. In recent years, the research group has published over 110 SCI papers in Nat Genetics, Nat. Plants, Mol. Plant, Genome Biol., PNAS, Nat. Commun., Nuclear Acids Res., Science Advances, Plant Biotech. J. and other top international and renowned journals, which have been cited more than 9200 times. The Crop Genetics and Bioinformatics Team has Hosted and participated in more than ten national key research and development programs, National Natural Science Foundation of China, and provincial-level projects, authorized five invention patents, and received three provincial-level awards.
