The State Key Laboratory of Conservation and Utilisation of Subtropical Agricultural Biological Resources （SKLCUSA）is the first discipline-based State Key Laboratory in Guangxi built on the basis of universities. The laboratory integrates the advantageous strengths of Guangxi University and South China Agricultural University, and set up a project in 2011. The laboratory focuses on scientific and technological problems of important subtropical speciality crops sugarcane, southern high-quality rice, lychee and so on.
