个人简介:

2002年获得广西“十百千人才工程”第二层次人选;2007年获得广西优秀专家。1979.09-1983.07年广西农学院兽医专业毕业;1983.08-1985.08广西玉林地区畜牧研究所工作;1985.09-1988.07年获广西农学院微生物与预防兽医学硕士;1988.07-1992.09年原广西农学院讲师,1992.10-1994.03年日本岐阜大学访问学者;1994.04-1998.03年获日本岐阜大学兽医学博士;1998.03回国在广西大学工作,副教授;1999.09-2010.03任广西大学动物科学技术学院院长;2000年晋升教授;2001.05-2002.08美国芝加哥大学医学院分子遗传与细胞生物学Majorie B Kovler Viral Oncology Lab实验室高级访问学者/博士后;2003.05获博士生导师资格。2009.09-2012.05广西大学研究生处处长,2012.06至今广西大学副校长。目前兼任中国畜牧兽医学会常务理事及动物传染病学分会副理事长,中国微生物学会理事,广西畜牧兽医学会理事长。


科研成果:

主要从事狂犬病流行病学与免疫示范区建设。广西是狂犬病高发区和老疫区, 2003年人病例数为519例,发病率居全国第一,2004年达到602人,2006年波及全广西14个地市88个县388个乡镇。通过系统地建立狂犬病诊断技术、抗体检测方法,收集“临床健康犬”脑样本检测,对流行病学、进化规律、变异特点、抗原性、致病性及蝙蝠等野生动物带毒状况进行深入研究,确定带毒家犬是主要传染源,因此全区开展家犬疫苗接种工作,开展“免疫示范区”建设,提高犬免疫密度、抗体合格率,降低犬带毒率。2008-2010年确定南宁市宾阳县、隆安县等12县为免疫示范区。2011—2016年扩大免疫示范区,在全广西推广,明显提高农村家犬免疫密度和抗体合格率,大大地降低人狂犬病发病率,全区狂犬病发病死亡人数从2004年602例降低到2020年11例,取得了巨大的社会经济效益。

先后在国外PNAS、PLOS Pathogens、PLOS Neglected Tropical Diseases、 Scientific Reports等国际SCI源学术刊物发表论文40余篇,国内发表150余篇。
